Carmaker temporarily halts sale of 4,000 unsold diesel-fueled VW, Audi, Skoda and SEAT vehicles because they contain emissions-cheating software

VW has suspended the sale of 4,000 vehicles in the UK on fears that they contain the same software that was used for cheating US emissions tests.

The vehicles, which represent around 3% of the car group’s UK stock, covers VW, Audi, Skoda and SEAT brands. It will continue to sell all unaffected cars.
