A dead whale measuring about 10.5 metres (35 feet), thought to be a minke, has been discovered on a Kent beach on Wednesday morning. Daniel Knowlton captured this footage at Forness Point at Botany Bay seafront in Thanet. Emergency responders can be seen surveying the scene. Experts from the Institution of Zoology will be dissecting the whale and taking samples which can provide an insight into the cause of death
